360° Views: The summit offers panoramic views of the Agasthyamala range, Chittar Dam reservoir basin, and surrounding peaks like Kaalimala, Kurisumala & Koonichimala.

Terrain: Exposed rocky ridges, steep ascents, vertical climbs and off-trail patches through dense forests & grasslands.

Unique Peak Shape: The name "Kondaketti" is derived from local tying hair in a bun (konda), as the mountain's shape resembles a neatly tied hair knot.

Notable Feature: Kondaketti is known as a zero-leech zone even during the monsoon season among Kerala treks.
