Rules and Regulations:

• Open to all branch students

• Participants can compete individually or in teams (maximum 2 members)

• Allowed software is KiCad

• The design must be original. Copying existing PCB layouts is strictly prohibited

• Participants must submit schematic files, PCB layout files, Gerber files, and a PDF of the design.

• The final design must pass Design Rule Check (DRC) without errors

Scoring criteria:

• Circuit Functionality & Correctness - 25

• Component Placement & Layout Optimization - 20

• Routing Quality (trace width, clearance, vias ) - 20

• DRC Compliance (Error-free design) -15

• Board Aesthetics, Neatness & Proper Labelling -15

• Innovation / Design Efficiency -5
