Date: 30/01/2026
Registration Fee: ₹400 per team
Team Size: Maximum 4 members
Goal: Design a robot to push your opponent out of the designated arena area. This is a test of engineering, driving skill, and durability.
ONLY FOR UG STUDENTS
Guidelines:
1. Robot Specifications
Weight Limit: Maximum 8 kg.
Note: Adapters and remote controllers do not count toward this weight.
Size Limit: Must fit within a 75 cm x 75 cm x 75 cm box at all times.
Power: Maximum voltage is 40V.
2. Mobility & Weapons
Allowed Movement: Wheels, tracks, and walking mechanisms are permitted. Prohibited Movement: No jumping, hopping, or flying (drones/balloons). The robot must stay in contact with the ground.
Allowed Weapons: Non-destructive weapons only. You may use flippers, wedges, and lifting devices.
Prohibited Weapons: Any weapon not listed above (e.g., spinners or saws) is strictly banned.
3. Match Format
Structure: 1 vs. 1 matches consisting of 3 rounds.
Duration: Each round lasts up to 5 minutes.
Winning a Round: Push the opponent out of the designated arena area to win the round.
Winning the Match: The winner is decided based on total points/wins across the three rounds.
4. Repairs & Timeouts
Standard Break: There is a 2-minute break between rounds for minor repairs.
Technical Issues: If a robot malfunctions at the start, you have 2 minutes to fix it. Taking longer will result in a point deduction.
Severe Damage: In cases of major damage during a match, a 5-minute repair interval may be granted.
5. Control Systems
Wired: Allowed, but all wires must be bundled, insulated, and protected.
Wireless: Allowed. To prevent interference, you must have a system capable of switching frequencies (at least 4 frequencies or dual control circuits).
Note: Matches will not be replayed due to wireless interference.
6. Penalties & Disqualification
Ring Out: If you push an opponent out, stop immediately. Pushing intentionally after they are out results in a warning (1st time) or disqualification (2nd time).
Stalling: Avoiding combat (staying still or running away) results in a warning (1st time) or loss of the round (2nd time).
Human Interference: Any team member entering the arena without permission causes an immediate round loss.
Conduct: Abusive behaviour toward referees or staff leads to penalties or event-wide disqualification.
