EVENT OVERVIEW

Participants will be given a lathe machining task to complete within a specified time. The competition focuses on precision, finishing, and technical knowledge.

PARTICIPATION DETAILS

• Open to all college students

• Individual participation only

• Participants must carry a valid College ID Card

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Participants must report at least 30 minutes before the event

2. The machining task will be provided on the spot

3. Participants must complete the task within the allotted time

4. Only assigned machines and tools should be used

5. Any external assistance or unfair means will lead to disqualification

SAFETY GUIDELINES

6. Wearing appropriate safety gear (apron, shoes, etc.) is mandatory

7. Participants must strictly follow lab safety instructions

8. Unsafe handling of machines will result in immediate disqualification

JUDGING CRITERIA

Evaluation will be based on:

• Accuracy

• Surface Finishing

• Dimensional Precision

• Viva (Machining Knowledge)

FINAL AUTHORITY

• The decision of the judges will be final and binding

• Organizers reserve the right to make necessary changes
