The Cochin Natural History Society (CNHS) invites you to a morning of observation and discovery at Puthuvype Beach. This nature walk is designed for those who wish to slow down and connect with the coastal landscape through the lens of local biodiversity.
Led by Vishnupriya Kartha and Mukundan, the walk focuses on the avian life that calls this ecosystem home. Whether you are a seasoned birder or a curious beginner, this is a space to learn, reflect on our changing environment, and contribute to conservation through shared knowledge.
Guided Observation: Insightful sessions on identifying local bird species and understanding their habitats.
Expert Insights: Learn from experienced naturalists about the ecological importance of the Puthuvype coastline.

Gear up: Wear comfortable walking shoes and light, earth-toned clothing.
Essentials: Please bring your own water bottle (reusable) and a cap/umbrella for sun protection.

Respect Nature: We follow a "Leave No Trace" policy to ensure the habitat remains undisturbed.
Registration: The fee of ₹150/- is required to secure your spot.
Timings: Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for a brief orientation.
Safety: Participants are responsible for their own well-being; please stay with the group and follow the leads' instructions.
Weather: In case of extreme weather, the walk may be rescheduled. Notifications will be sent via the registered contact info.
