Workshop on ' Solar PV: From Sunlight to Power

Solar PV: From Sunlight to Power is a technical workshop designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) technology, system components, installation, operation, maintenance, safety, and grid integration. The workshop will feature expert-led presentations, technical videos, demonstrations, and interactive discussions covering PV panels, system components, inverters, protection systems, mounting and installation practices, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and grid-connected solar systems. Subject to feasibility, the workshop will also include a visit to a solar power plant, providing students with real-world exposure to PV arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, monitoring systems, and power flow from solar generation to the grid. The workshop aims to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical industry applications and familiarize students with emerging solar technologies and career opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
