Code2Play is an accelerated, collaborative game development challenge where programmers, game designers, artists, storytellers, and sound creators come together to transform ideas into playable games within a limited timeframe.

The challenge begins with a surprise theme revealed at the kickoff, pushing participants to think creatively, experiment with unconventional ideas, and rapidly transform concepts into working game prototypes. Participants may compete individually or in small teams, taking their games through ideation, game design, development, asset creation, testing, and refinement before submitting their final playable build.
