Path Pursuit

This event is a Line Follower Robot Competition, where participants design and develop an autonomous robotic vehicle capable of following a pre-defined path, typically marked by a black color on the floor or flex. The robot utilizes sensors such as an infrared(IR) sensor to detect the line and adjust its movement accordingly to remain on track. By continuously scanning the path and processing sensor inputs, the robot makes real-time decisions—such as turning left or right—to ensure precise and efficient navigation.

-Team consists of 1-4 members.

-Track will be provided by the coordinators for the competition.(published only at the venue.) -The racing track is a continuous black line of width 30mm and consisting of acute angles, loops, T intersection etc.

-The maximum robot size should not exceed 25 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm.

-Points will be awarded based on time taken by the robots for finishing the track.
